Your car must be inspected prior to Track Day. Please take your car to a qualified mechanic (ASE certified) for technical inspection and have the checklist signed-off and stamped no earlier than one year prior to the event. Each participant is solely responsible for the condition of the vehicle to be driven during this event.
All drivers are welcome to purchase HPDI (High Performance Drivers Introduction) insurance coverage, but it is not required. This is strictly up to each individual driver to decide if HPDI Insurance is appropriate for you. Not having this insurance coverage will in no way affect your attendance at the event or your ability to take your car onto the track.
The policy is through Lockton Motorsports and they are set up to help you today in acquiring a track policy for the event. Please read thoroughly and if you have any questions about any of the details of the policy, make sure to contact Lockton Motorsports. Keep in mind that this is strictly a 1-day event policy and is valid only for our event on March 23rd, 2017.
If you purchase insurance, Lockton Motorsports requires that your car be inspected prior to Track Day. Please take your car to a qualified mechanic (ASE certified) for technical inspection and have the checklist signed-off and stamped no earlier than one year prior to the event. There is a fuel facility at the track for both regular octane and 110 octane racing fuel. However, fuel prices are extremely high. We recommend filling up before getting to the track. There are several gas stations in the city of Rosamond.
If you plan to get behind the wheel without a professional instructor present in the passenger seat, you will need to register as a driver regardless if you are bringing a car or not. For example, if you have a friend bringing a car that you will be allowed to drive, you will still need to register as a driver even if you are personally not bringing a car.
