On February 7, 2012 over 40 kids and families from charities; Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Boys and Girls Club of Antelope Valley will get the rare opportunity to see some of L.A.'s hottest sports cars race around Willow Springs Racetrack.

From a Ferrari 458 Italia to a Lamborghini Gallardo, to a Nissan GTR and a very rare limited edition Porsche GT3RS 4.0; these kids and their families will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to see these beauties race up to speeds of 175 mph.

JDRF, Boys & Girls Club of Antelope Valley, and L.A. Car Connection join forces through a race track day at Willow Springs to bring awareness to some much needed children's charities in Southern California.

"We are more than excited to work with L.A. Car Connection on this event. It is going to give us the exposure to help bring awareness to type 1 diabetes" says Bob Reid, executive director of JDRF.  Children and families from both charities will come out to the track to experience a day of fast cars, food and friends! Laura Setzer, VP of Antelope Valley Boys & Girls Club states, "This is a great opportunity for our kids, who wouldn't normally ever experience something like this, to take a day to really...just be a kid!"

For the first time, L.A. Car Connection and their team treat local children's charities and their families by having some of their high profile clients bring out their most prized possessions to take a spin around Willow Springs 2.5 mile track.  L.A. Car Connection will be providing food, music and exhilarating entertainment for these families.

"I wanted to create an event for not only the kids of these charities but also their families. Our goal was to make an event that would take their mind off the everyday stresses they endure" says Eric Brooks, President of L.A. Car Connection.
